Meet Joseph Martin

Joseph Martin is a New Jersey-based real estate investor and property manager with JM Investments in Hackettstown. With more than 20 years of experience in real estate, he has acquired, managed, and sold a wide range of properties—including single-family homes, multifamily buildings, and select commercial assets—across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Florida. Over time, he has focused more heavily on multifamily investments as well as vacation and short-term rental opportunities, recognizing their long-term value and income potential.

Throughout his career, Joseph has taken a hands-on role in ownership and operations, managing day-to-day property performance while navigating negotiations, contracts, and transaction logistics from start to finish. His experience includes working through complex deals and exploring multiple financing approaches, including equity-based strategies and alternative funding sources, giving him a well-rounded perspective on building and maintaining successful investments.

In addition to real estate, Joseph brings 18 years of sales experience, including time with Xerox Corporation and business ownership in route-based operations and wine distribution. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Master’s degree in Sport Management and Leisure Studies from Temple University.
